Neighborhood Concerts

Our interactive programs are designed to unite generations through the power of classical music, sparking curiosity in listeners of all ages.
These energetic neighborhood presentations feature PianoArts fellows, guest artists, and the extraordinary rising stars of the Wisconsin Youth Competition.

Everyone is welcome, from young children discovering live performance for the first time to lifelong music lovers. Teaching artists continue to enrich these experiences by providing concert previews, ensuring that students attending our Music Explorers education programs can fully connect with the music.

Young Musicians

PianoArts educators guide middle school, high school, and college students to develop their performance skills and strive for artistic excellence through open rehearsals, workshops, master classes, intensive coaching, and in-school-residencies.

Neighborhood Concerts

PianoArts partners with churches, senior residences, and museums to bring talented guest artists into our Milwaukee neighborhoods. These free concerts often include “Spotlight Performers,” local singers and instrumentalists.

Family Concerts

Young families can introduce their children to captivating classical music during free hour-long concerts featuring a PianoArts Fellow, guest artists, and a narrator. Concerts are based on stories like Mother Goose and Peter and the Wolf. Activities before and after these free concerts include an Instrument Petting Zoo.
