Festival Celebrating 20 Years – “Concerts with Personality” June 14-16

Our 20th anniversary festival showcases twenty acclaimed local and internationally-recognized actors, dancers, singers, pianists, and master teachers at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and the Wilson Center at Vogel Hall at the Marcus Center. On June 14 and 15, at the Conservatory: Lecture– Storytelling in Music, Concert– ON STAGE; Workshop– INSIDE THE STUDIO; Lecture and Concert– TAKE TWO; Lecture– Singing Keys, Concert– PERFECT PARTNERS; and AFTER HOURS with jazz at the WCM. On June 16, at the Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall of the Marcus Performing Arts Center, the festival finale will begin with a Lecture –  Revolutionary Classics followed by the Concert– VIRTUOSI OF PIANO AND DANCE featuring the Varshavski-Shapiro Duo, Aleksandra Kasman with dance choreographed by Milwaukee Ballet’s Timothy O’Donnell, and Christopher Taylor.
