Posted on: February 15th, 2018

Concerts for everyone! Aristo Sham, John Schindler, and Aleksandra Kasman gave 27 performances to diverse audiences that included French speaking students, gifted students in baccalaureate programs, disabled students, a “sold-out” concert in Madison, performances at Calvary Baptist Church and Hephatha Lutheran Churches that highlighted performances with church musicians, concerts at St. John’s on the Lake and Milwaukee Catholic Home, a capacity audience at Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, a concert designed for piano teachers and students, and exciting culminating concerts in three elegant private homes.

John Schindler hosted an ArtsDay for Young Urban Leaders that included a tour of the Grohmann Museum and a concert. One of his Youth Concerts was performed at Milwaukee Area Technical College for elementary and college students, who recorded the presentation for one of their audio classes. Aleksandra Kasman performed a Youth Concert at the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and another at the Milwaukee Art Museum. All fellows gave master classes and coached in the PianoArts Chamber Music with Piano program. Ariela Bohrod, a 2012 PianoArts scholarship winner, joined Alexander for the concert in Madison that included an interview on Wisconsin Public Radio. Aleksandra also was featured on Milwaukee School of Engineering University’s radio station, WMSE.
