For pianists ages 16-21, living or studying full time in North America
A challenging competition that prepares PianoArtists to build careers through rehearsals, conversations, and performances with professional musicians, and seminars with specialists from a diversity of arts organizations.

2. a quintet of musicians from the MSO
3. the full orchestra
Perform Public Concert with the MSO

Experiences Beyond the Competition
Each PianoArtist
Partners with an MSO violinist or cellist
Coaches with a professional team of public speakers, actors, music
communication specialists, stage directors, and a Pilates instructor
Explores rehearsal and baton techniques with Music Director Andrews Sill
Performs a full concerto with musicians from the Milwaukee Symphony or
Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra
Plans programs for diverse audiences
Enjoys performing outreach programs in the community
